Most guardianships charge a premium for their higher levels of support and advice.
At Parents Abroad, we're the exception to the rule. Our fee is fixed and our level of
involvement is exactly the same for every child in our care. This includes taking
responsibility, not just for their welfare, but for their education too. For example, our highly qualified academic staff carefully monitor your child's academic
progress and evaluate his or her school grades and reports each term. They make a point of
representing you at all parent/teacher meetings and provide you with regular assessments
of your child's abilities. They can offer advice too on everything from the curriculum to the choice of a school
or university. How do we manage to devote so much time and care to each and every student? One reason is that we only accept a limited number of students. In this way, we're able to
provide a support programme that takes into account all their individual needs. Another is
that we concentrate on a relatively small area of England. Our schools are never more than two hours' away from our office in Windsor, so we're
able to visit them on a regular basis and build up close, working relationships. "Parents abroad is a small, personal and efficient organisation recommended
by the students, parents, schools and host families with which it deals." Alisa Samoylova is a typical example of our guardianship. We helped to guide her through
every stage of her academic career. After prep school at the age of 11, we facilitated her
move to Roedean where she achieved nine GCSEs (6xA*, 1xA, 2xB). To study for her A Levels,
she was keen to move to a co-educational school and, on our advice, chose Cheltenham College.
Her results were outstanding. With 4xA grades she was accepted at Imperial College, London to
read Biochemistry.
